This lady in the picture was protecting. She said in the speache Japanese-Americans, Muslims, Arabs, Iranians, South Asia who is next?. I think that there is not different between Middle Eastern and South East Asian imigrants and the Japanese Americans because during the WWII, the Japanese went to the Relocation camps. That mains that another country could go to the relocation camps after the Japanese.

President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 in 1942 to evacuate all people of Japanese ancestry who lived on the West Coast. Colorado Governor Ralph Carr welcomed the evacuees, unlike the governors of the other western states who vehemently refused to open their doors. Governor Carr stood firm in his belief that the rights of all Americans should be protected, no matter one’s place of origin. His willingness to stand up for what he believed probably cost him his political career when he lost a bid for the U.S. Senate by 3,000 votes.

After the Japanese were bombing the Pearl Harbol Americans began to fight with the Japanese. The Americans had put the Japanese in a camp (relocation camp) where the Japanese were in persecution. I think that the group immigrat that could happen again is with Latino American beacause we had a protested in may 1. There most of the people were Hyspanos. If I were the Japanise Americans during the WWII I felt very hysteria because of the what American did to destroit my country and I. About racism I think is still mayor issue American society because they treate the people of the other countries with menority value.

Valentin Sanches

In the world there are many reasons to go to war. The conflit between cuntries has been changing since any kinds of war were declareted. A patriotic man Valentin Sanches was born in Puerto Rico. At the age of 18 years old he was elected to go to Korea. At that time in Puerto Rico used to force the students of 18 years old to go to war, therefore he went to Korea because if they refused to go they had go to the jail. The conflict was between Korea of the south against Korea of the north. The war began in agost 8, 1950. In march 1951, Valentin went to Korea. When he was in the land he said that he had heard shot very far that could affect his maind. He became nervious before he fought. The capitan of the tropa said that they had to move to the center of the country to fight. Valentin said that he had to killed the first one that he saw in from of his face. He said that he remember that the only way to soviver a war was killing the enemy. When the enemy was near to him he embraced the enemy and killed him by a knife. Also they used gun, rifle M1, or metralladora 50. One by one were killing without compation. Some times if the bullets finish they had to hide the enemy.

In 1951 the war was not ended but he refuse to stay there, so he had talked to the captaint of the troop because he wanted to go back or study for benefy he went to Panama by boat to study how to be a conflict police, trafic, or, course of police military. Valentin graduated of police military in 1952. At that time he went to Alemania because the police of Alemania were looking for people who spoke Spanish and English. In Alemany he was a police military, but he felt sad and very sensitive. He began to miss his family since he left of Puerto Rico. He refuse to stay in any country if were not his country, so he said no of every proposal that they offered to him.

The military were very interesting in Valentin, therefore they offered to him 10.000 dollars to stay 3 more years working, but he said no because he wanted to go back to his country. After that he talked with the General that he wanted to go back to his country because he would like to plant fuzz. He invented the history that the president sent to him a letter saying that he need to go back right away. Finally in 1951 he went to Puerto Rico to be quite and happy with his family and friends.

In The World has been occuring many wars. In my opinion war is good in some case because if we are talking about get land, I do not support war like that, but If I were the president of my country I support any kinds of war because my country is very small and can be destroit easy. Every country has to be unit in special if are neightbords. Some countries are more strong than others, therfore they want to get of the other countries power, land, or money. I would like to support every country which need my help. When I read the book Night I became very angry with the life because I did not think that this situation with the Jews could happen. There were some part that
sorprased me. They were deshumanize, all of the time the soldiers were hetting them, torture by thirty and food, and separeted of their family for no value reasons. They suffered without compation waitting for the last moment to died.

We were in spring break last two weeks. My spring break was very hard, I had to work more time. I prefer come to school sometimes because work everiday is so hard. The first three days of the first week I felt very tired, I did not have time to go out. I would like to go to out every day but I can not. The rest of the days were only one week. I began to look for people with experience about war, OH MY GOD!, that was so hard for my bcause everyone I asked said "I do not know anything about that". I was sad. I called my brother, who is in Puerto Rico, last fraday. I explained to him about my situation and he help me a lot. I had to talk with the man whom my brother told to help my about my presentation. I had inteview him the night of the friday. Before that I had known that he did not want to talk about war, so I had to be carfull with the questions. At last I felt glad because he was be able to answered my questions .

In my opinion, I think the world always have been changing because we never know when the things are going to happen. Every countries have different rules to follow.There are people with more power then others. The most power can control, that was what happened in Germany with the jews. The Germans had more power than the jews. They tortured them, they put the jews as prisoners, killed them, and treated them as animals without compation. Now or in the future that can happen. Most of the countries have been fiting for power. If the holocausto come again I do not think with the jews again because they have more power now than the past. Now they can avoid the enemy.

Hi! Yesterday we met the students from Bcc. We were very nice with them during the times of the activities. They came to our class in Bmcc. we ate a delicious breakfast. Some of the food were made for the students like mango by Genorina. After the breakfast we played in the classroom with the other students and talked about our lives. my classmates and the students from Bcc went to the Metropolitan Museum of art. There we walked a lot triying to found two pieses, one for the modern art and the other from the photography exibition. Find the homework was very fony because we missed each other. Want HO, Bonn and I met with Ivelise, Jolanda and Nathalia they were with us in the museum doing the homework. We have enjoyed the trip toguethe. That was a nice experience because the museum is beautiful and there are important things to discover. I will like to go back to the museum in my free time.

I have learned about the Ningh book diffeent things that I did not know before. The jews were persecutive for the Germans. A boy names Elie is the historian of the book. He said "I belive profundly in God". He wanted to know more and more about God by pray and read the cabbalic book. Moshe was a master who tought Elie more about God. When he left to the concentration camp he went back to sighet to warn the jewist that the Germans will take them to their houses to send them to Auschwitz. There was the concentration camp where the people will be born by the Kapos. that was a advertence of the moshe when he went back he told them that he escaped miraculously . He was wonded in the leg and taken for dead. After that Moshe had the reason because everithing that he said happened. the jewist were had entered into guettos. After that they began to be tortured by the Germans by thirts, food, bit ........... They were totaly deshumanise. At that time children, younght people and old people were equal to each other. Hard work, hungry, asleep, no monie were the beggining of the suffiring to the jewist.
